A single framed photograph shows one day. A mosaic shows a life. From across the room it reads as the portrait you chose — their smile, their eyes. As you approach, it opens: the wedding, the kitchen table, the beach in 1994, the grandchildren. Visitors stop in front of it. Family members find themselves inside it.

How many photos do we need for a memorial mosaic?
Around fifty photos already make a lovely mosaic, and a few hundred make an extraordinary one. Everyday phone photos are exactly right — and asking siblings, grandchildren and old friends to contribute theirs usually gathers more than enough within a few days.
Can we use old, damaged or mixed-quality photographs?
Yes. Tiles print small, so ordinary snapshots, faded prints and slightly blurry photos all work beautifully — simply photograph or scan old prints with a phone. A mosaic that mixes 1970s prints with last year’s photos carries the whole life in its texture, which is exactly the point.
How long does a memorial mosaic take to arrive?
You see a full preview before anything is printed and can adjust until it feels right. Once approved, museum-grade printing and insured delivery typically take about a week.
